AIMS 'torture' and other Romanian AK stories

Thanks to Airsoft-News.EU for bringing this terrible mistreatment of a lovely AK to the publics' notice:

This comes just prior to what I think will be a huge surge in AIMS ownership in the UK, as VFC and G&G get ready to invade Britain with their replicas of the Romanian AK.

There are other option out there, Russian Mania Workshop do a nice AIMS kit, and Trapper International will convert your AKS back end to take the Romanian style wire stock, and also you have the cheapsoft option of buying the wire stock and wooden Romy front end from the likes of RSOV...

But be aware peeps, before you just go and buy that wire stock and try and fit it yourself, it does require a special 'square back' AK receiver to fit it too, otherwise the result will be a very strange looking AIMS indeed (I'd wait for the G&G if I were you)!
