Airsoft MOSCART 40mm grenade care & maintenance kit

Today I received the last item in my little MOSCART tool kit. I surely have everything I need to use and maintain my King Arms 120R M381 HE VN cartridge.

The posty brought me a King Arms 40mm MOSCART tool - the strange silver implement you can see at the bottom of this photo - which is used to reset the cartridges after firing, and has a couple of other maintenance uses as well. Not least of these is to help with the very fiddly operation of re-inserting the 8 tiny 3mm ball bearings which are a part of the mechanism.

Luckily you don't have to touch the bearings on a regular basis - which is just as well with my big fat fingers! ;)

Other items in my kit are (from the top of the picture) a bottle of Green Gas, several packes of spare MOSCART parts and a tube of silicon grease. The spare parts are particularly useful, as they hold plenty additional 3mm bearings - these little buggers are bound to go astray!

All that remains for me to do is practise loading, firing and resetting my cartridges - so I don't look a complete idiot when I get to the field. After enough firings, and ironing out of any procedural or technical bugs, I will actually video a little instructional video about their use...

You would think that there are already enough of those on YouTube - but I have watched over a dozen so far and every one has missed out some vital point in the process that the beginner - like myself - really needs to know!
