Jack the Gunsmith: VSS Vintorez airsoft replica

News via my favourite portal, Airsoft-news.eu (welcome back after the technical hitch) is that JTG ('Jack the Gunsmith') has completed a short run of an airsoft replica of the VSS Vintorez. For those who don't know, the real Vintorez is a Russian special forces weapon, and was used during the fateful Beslan school hostage crisis and other Russian counter-terrorist operations.

My team mate, Legs, had a quasi-replica made by Trapper Industries, but this was predominantly based on the standard airsoft AK-47 'chassis'. The JTG is a proper model of the real deal weapon, with correctly laid out receiver and magazine configuration.

For anyone wanting to complete their MVD/OMON impression this will make a very nice piece.

JTG: " It will have GB v.3 380-400fps of power. We want to produce 20 pcs The price will be 650 EUR."

This looks very nice.

I did have a plan to build one myself and I think I will do in the future. Just get myself sorted for the Imperial Guard loadout and then find a project gun to gradually build up.
