Special airsoft event this Sunday - it's the birthday outing for one of the Team AKA members, Craig!

This will be my first airsoft skirmish for a wee while, and I do have a brace of new items to wear, try out, fire or otherwise abuse on the day. But the main thing I am looking forward to is wearing my Russian Flecktar-D camo along with my other Team AKA mates - the first time I've worn it with the rest of the team.

To be honest there is very little major preparation to do for this game, aside from organizing my new King Arms gas cartridges for use in my GP-30 grenade launcher. This is a piece of kit I have never used before and there is a bit more work to be done to prepare than with the normal airsoft gun. I've done a bit of research and bought a few specialist tools and spare parts to ensure everything goes OK on the day...

But I still have that nagging feeling that things may not go smoothly - let's face it, when does anything in airsoft go smoothly first time? ;)
