Today my EB made CNC AKS74U Rail arrived. However, there is an interesting tale to this piece...

Usually you would have to either order a part like this from Hong Kong or pay well over the odds for it from the likes of Wolf Armouries or Airsoft Armouries here in the UK. But as luck would have it, while browsing through a small UK airsoft web store I happened across this particular rail set!

The real surprise, however, was the price...

Now the same rail is available from the likes of Ebaybanned, Gunner Airsoft and RSOV in Hong Kong and they all charge about $44USD for it - but North East Tactical Store (formally Andy's Airsoft) had it in stock for just £27.03!

Woot!

This is unheard of - a UK retailer actually having a niche item like this for LESS than a Hong Kong store!

Anyway - shock aside - the rail set arrived today and it's a rather nice 'CNC' metal  2 piece item. Another component to go towards my 'Mini tactical AK' concept.
