VFC announce new FN FNC replica

My avid reader will know - Cough! I mean 'readers' - that aside for my enthusiasm for Russian themed airsoft things I have a particular fetish for the weaponry of Fabrique Nationale de Herstal. This is the famous Belgian armoury responsible for the legendary FN FAL (the 'Western AK47') and in consequence the British Army's L1A1 SLR.

Well, the good news is that Vega Force Company (VFC) have announced that they will be releasing a replica of the slightly less well known FN FNC - the 5.56mm 'little brother' of the 7.62mm FAL (though design itself is not related).

Good news for FN nuts like myself, for although STAR already produce a very commendable replica of the FNC, aficionados will be pleased to note that VFC will be adding it's particular level of authenticity and top class finish to the model. This now means (if G&G ever do finish their FNC) that aisrofters with a taste for FN products will now be spoilt for choice with three replicas spanning the quality and price scale; budget (G&G), mid-range (STAR) and premium (VFC).

Not much hard data on the VFC FNC yet, but you can keep tabs on it's progress at the official VFC (English) news web site: Vega Force Company News
