I'm very proud to say that my hometown of Scarborough - North Yorkshire - will be hosting quite elaborate festivities celebrating our armed forces and personnel!

Scarborough will be enjoying mock operations including a helicopter and other military vehicles, parachute display, The Band of Scots Guards and the Yorkshire Volunteers Band and much much more!

All over the UK, in fact, there will be many activities, displays and marches - a chance for the public to show their gratitude to our service men and women.
