Classic Army SVD Dragunov
LMAO - I just had to post up this video preview. You can make your own mind up why! (The cameraman seemed to be somewhat distracted on occassion!)
Here is one of the best-selling history titles of 2009. Examining the Second World War on every front, Andrew Roberts asks whether, with a different decision-making process and a different strategy, Hitler's Axis might even have won..
Storm of War! is full of illuminating sidelights on the principle actors that bring their characters and the ways in which they reached decisions into fresh focus. [Link to audio book version.]

Firstly: Doesnt she look after her body shape well!
Secondly: Looks like a JG with better build quality, why make it a fully auto for gods sake....hmmm
I would prefer the RS SVD single shot, electric, with a 150 (490fps) spring.
I cant see any point in having a sniper rifle (or silly long gun) at the same velocity as an Assault Rifle or SMG...maybe if you put a tight bore barrel and 9.6v battery that would be cool...!?
"I cant see any point in having a sniper rifle (or silly long gun) at the same velocity as an Assault Rifle or SMG..."
This has a lot to do with the realities of airsoft compared to *real* sniping and the comparatively short ranges found in the typical site.
The full auto 'sniper' rifle actually makes a lot of sense as the airsoft sniper playing in fast moving games must be willing to engage the enemy 'on the move' - there is a lot less of the classic *static* sniper scenarios in airsoft. And because of the way airsoft works the best way to take out the sniper is to close fast in numbers on him...The re isn't much chance for a sniper (as he would in the real world) to escape and evade.
In this way the full auto SVD is more like it's real life 'designated marksman' counterpart, where the DM would move *WITH* the infantry to counter sniper threats...
To be honest, in airsoft you could be just as effective sniper with an M16 or AK47 as there is greater tactical effectiveness for the airsoft sniper in fieldcraft than in conventional long range marksmanship (unless the scenario is a static set-piece defensive one - and even then the time a sniper would be effective would only be as long as the defensive force kept the bulk of the infantry at bay).
I think Classic Army is acknowledging this fact in bringing out a longer range full auto. It is really a marksman support weapon for infantry sections.
