Wonderful drawing - FAL in action

This is something a bit unusual but I think I will do more posts like this because there is such a lot of wonderful military artwork out there. I found this on Flickr and it appears to be a pencil drawing of a Rhodesian soldier in action during the 'Bush War' period. It really captures the tension of the moment...

The work is called 'Double Tap' and is accompanied by a wonderful poem of the same name...

This one's for real.
Remember 'jungle lane',
watch your step,
watch your front,
look for movement,
listen,
smell,
keep the rifle's butt in your shoulder.
Up ahead,
among the autumn painted thorn trees,
a noise,
a bush quivers,
friend or foe?
Animal or enemy?
Amidst the kaleidoscope of shapes and shadows,
a man,
an AK rifle.
Heave up on the FN,
hold your breath,
both eyes open,
no time to aim,
double tap.
The two shots sound as one,
and all hell breaks loose!
